A photography that listens

A Switzerland-based photographer, author and singer-songwriter, I travel — slowly — toward landscapes and faces, camera in hand the way one would carry a notebook.

Photography, to me, is a universal language: that of the gaze that lingers, of the walk that takes its time, of the silence that precedes the image. I don't try to fix; I try to listen.

Walking to see

My three series — I Walk Alone, I Walk With You and I Walk Dubai — are chapters of the same book: how the moving body gives birth to vision. From chosen solitude to shared encounters, from Switzerland to California's golden hours, each image is the fruit of a step, a pause, a breath.

The photographs are often faceless — not out of modesty, but out of openness. An image can be worth a thousand words as long as it leaves room for those who look at it.

Beyond the image

Photographs do not live alone. They dialogue with writing — notebooks kept in parallel, where words refine what the image has left open — and with music — songs that sometimes become soundtracks to an entire series.

It is this porosity between practices that gives my work its tone: a photography that still believes in slowness, in poetry, and in the power of gazes that linger.
